Bathroom Remodeling in San Diego

Complete bathroom remodels — from dated and leaky to bright, tiled and watertight — in San Diego and all around it.

A bathroom shows its age faster than any room in the house — grout darkens, caulk pulls away, the fan loses the fight against the steam, and one day the room that should start your morning right is the room you apologize for. We take bathrooms from dated and leaky to bright, tiled and watertight: new tile, new fixtures, real ventilation, and waterproofing underneath it all that is done properly before anything pretty goes on top. Bathrooms are marquee work for us — and with the plumbing, electrical and flooring done by the same hands, it shows in the corners.

What's included

San Diego is hard on bathrooms in ways owners feel but rarely name: coastal humidity keeps moisture in the air year-round, and the county's hard water scales up showerheads and etches glass. Older homes in Clairemont, La Mesa and National City carry original hall baths — 1960s tile, cast-iron tubs, galvanized plumbing hiding in the wall — and a good remodel opens the wall expecting surprises instead of discovering them at the worst moment. We also remodel baths in ADUs and rentals, where durable finishes that survive tenants matter more than showroom delicacy. Whatever the bath, the order never changes: fix what is behind the wall first, make it watertight second, make it beautiful third.

Bathroom Remodeling by city

San Diego County is not one market — a Chula Vista family kitchen, a La Mesa hall bath and an El Cajon rental refresh are three different remodels.

Common questions

How long is the bathroom out of service?
A typical full remodel runs a few weeks depending on scope, and the bathroom is out of service for most of it — so we scope honestly, order materials before demo starts, and keep the sequence tight so no days are lost waiting.
What if you find damage behind the tile?
In older San Diego homes we often do — that is why the quote names the likely risks for your bathroom before work starts, and if we open the wall and find something, you see it and approve the fix before we touch it.
Can you remodel a very small bathroom?
Small baths are some of the best work — the right vanity, a glass shower instead of a bulky tub, and light-colored tile make a compact bath feel twice its size without moving a single wall.
